13 Feb 100 Women
Many women have expressed interest in being more involved and kept up to date about Doors to Freedom and all we are doing with the survivors we are working with. We are excited to announce that we are launching a new group with the intent of letting passionate women be a part of fighting sex trafficking in our area.
On Monday, February 20th we will be launching a group called “100 Women.” The purpose of this group will be to keep women in the loop about what is going on in our program, help spread awareness of sex trafficking in our area, and to help raise funds to support our programs.
“100 Women” will have monthly meetings where various staff members from Doors to Freedom will share updates on our house and the girls in our programs. These meetings will also have time for the women to discuss the business of the group, as the group will be working together to host a few awareness events and a few fundraisers throughout the year.
At the initial meeting on February 20th, we will be talking about the vision for “100 Women” as well as letting the group’s members determine the mission statement and the direction of the group. We will also discuss officer positions for the group. We will decide on a president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, as well as a few other officers. The meeting will be strictly informational, and no commitment needs to be made before attending the event.
The informational meeting will be held at 7PM on the 20th at the Lowcountry Biblical Counseling Center. The address is: 6435A Fain Blvd, North Charleston, SC 29406. Please RSVP with Tim Young (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you are interested in attending the event. Feel free to invite any of your friends to join with you.
Thank you for helping us provide our girls with new life, restored hope, and a beautiful future.
