Ways to Help

Doors to Freedom has been established to provide a safe place for survivors of sex trafficking to experience a transformed life. You can play an important part by joining us in our efforts to spread the message and gain support. Here are several ways you can partner with us to help survivors of sex trafficking.

This is currently our primary initiative. We have recently purchased a wonderful house that is being renovated to provide safe group housing for girls who are transitioning back into a healthy situation. As we complete the updates and furnish the house, you have the opportunity to “go shopping” for items that are needed to fill the rooms that these girls will be living in while under our care.

Through our online donation “store” you can select items from our needs list, and then “purchase” them by making a donation from the shopping cart. Every penny of your donation will go towards purchasing the items you choose (plus covering the card processing fee that is charged to us by the bank). This is a fun way to contribute in a very tangible way.

Help Fill A Room

Doors to Freedom’s program will provide each girl with life-skills training, continuing education, vocational training, personal growth counseling and transitional care. Because Doors to Freedom provides help completely free of charge, your financial support is critical. Donate securely online by using your PayPal account by clicking on the DONATE button below.

We also have a running list of things needed for our home outside of furniture. We need items for our program, our girls, and our office! Call us if you need to schedule a pick-up/drop-off.

Our goal is to raise money to build a home for women rescued from sex trafficking. One Grand Plan makes it simple. We are asking for individuals or groups to commit to give $1000 in one year. That’s only $83.33 a month! We are all created to build something…relationships, careers, gardens, homes, hope, love – what will you build?

To commit to being a One Grand Plan partner, please click the button below. Payments can be submitted via PayPal or via check (checks made payable to “Doors to Freedom.” Mail to 1317-M N. Main St. #263 Summerville, SC 29483)

Spread the word and raise awareness – Most people in the U.S. are unaware that sex trafficking is happening right in their own back yards. It is possible that you pass by these victims and situations in your day-to-day routine without even realizing it. By increasing awareness, we can help more victims be free from this horrific abuse. Share the facts about sex trafficking and the work being done by Doors to Freedom using your Twitter, Facebook, Instagram or your personal blog.

Lead discussions with your family and friends and let them know how to recognize the signs. If you suspect someone is a sex trafficking victim, contact the National Human Trafficking Resource Center (NHTRC). The NHTRC is a 24-hour, 7 day a week toll-free hotline operated by Polaris and their phone number is 1-888-3737-888. You can also contact your local law enforcement. If someone is in immediate danger, you should call 911.

Contact your state representatives and ask what they’ve done to stop sex trafficking in your state. To find out who your local legislators are, click here. You can also visit for addittional information on Sex Trafficking.
