Doors to Freedom provides a place for residents to call home. We are able to provide an environment where they can experience a new life, restored hope, and a beautiful future.
PERSONAL GROWTH
Providing individualized assignments to support therapy and to help the resident grow emotionally, morally, and spiritually.
THERAPY
Partnering with qualified CSEC therapy providers to provide individual and group therapy services tailored to the resident’s individualized needs, including but not limited to RRFT, TF-CBT with CSEC Components, DBT Skills Group, Animal Therapies, and Music Therapy.
ADVOCACY & CASE MGMT.
Collaborating with all members of the Therapeutic Team to ensure decisions being made are in the resident's best interest.
EDUCATION
Building knowledge in order to achieve individualized educational goals (high school diploma, GED, tutoring, college preparation, college enrollment).
LIFE SKILLS
Equipping residents with the skills they need to become self-sustaining by engaging residents in individual and group classes to include vocational training through HER Bracelets.
FAMILY ENGAGEMENT
Once safely approved by the Therapeutic Team, Doors to Freedom engages parents/caregivers in the Family Engagement area of the program.
ASSISTANCE CONNECTING TO THE MEDICAL COMMUNITY
Patterning with medical providers, including trained CSEC providers, to ensure all medical needs are met.
TRANSPORTATION
Transporting residents safely to and from the following: appointments, visits, court hearings, and outings.
